Stocks Climb as Earnings Season Ramps Up

U.S. stocks rose Tuesday, and so did U.S. government bond yields, as investors parsed the latest round of earnings reports for insights into how businesses are weathering rampant inflation.  The S&P 500 advanced 0.8%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.9%, or about 313 points.
